I still think it's kind of pathetic that any respectable AV software
would require the presence of such notorious, often exploited
soggyware in order to function.
Seems to me like they could/should write their own self-contained UI
and eliminate the dependency.
IMO, AV companies should at very least pretend that they seriously
recommend and promote safe computing practices...
