help stabilise WinME. But then I lost IE. When I click on Norton at
startup, message says Norton requires IE 4 ofr more! How do I put back
IE. I have the WinME CDRom. Help

Go to Windows Explorer and look in your CDs. Browse each folder for MSIE.

How does that help the OP? You must have a John the Baptist complex.

No, no, no. That's not allowed. You must remove that sinful IE. Every trace
of it!

Hey dummy, you know you can't... that'll kill windows... i.e any software
intergrated into IE, that corrupt's IE can kill the O/S, because IE relies on a
lot of the dll's that Windows relies on, you end up with a domino effect. M$
still haven't fixed the problem in XP!

Use a browser thats not intergrated into the O/S (also virus software), your O/S
will last longer and you r'll be safer from viruses.

Simple.
