Norton Internet Security 2004

I purchased the NIS 2004. I know, should not have done that.

I start the instalation, go the normal steps. Accept the
cond, the inst. folders etc. then click the "next" to start
the instalation the think gargles for 5/6 sec. and stops
with the message:

"The instalation encountered an error and was unable to
complete the instalation."

!!!!

What can one do? Any help?
