Post subject: HELP Worm: Spybot p2p gen with XP
Archived from groups: alt>comp>virus (more info?)

Hello,

my Anti - Virus found the Worm "Spybot.p2p.gen".
I deleted it three times in different files.
It also attacked the restore system of XP.
i deleted the restore files as described by symantec!
But if I boot windows XP now, it says the last time I didn't boot correctly
and asks me if I'd like to start normally, or in safe mode oder in the last
well working configuration which I actually deleted.

HELP!!
How can I remove this nerving questions when booting?
Is the virus still "alive" or active?

Thanks for your answeres!

Chris
