I wonder anybody else have the same problem as I do.
I am currently using Free AVG but it did not allow me to open Nero 6.6 and
also CloneCD (Slysoft).
Could someone advise me how to fix this problem with free AVG. Roman

I guess the first question would be "what was the reason given for not
allowing these programs to open".

Next questions would be.....did you manually scan both of them with
AVG?? Are they brand new? How long have you been using AVG?? And so
on.

I assume that AVG sees Nero.exe and Clonecd.exe as viruses.
With paid AVG, those can be placed in Exclusion. So I could run but not
with free AVG.

>did you manually scan both of them with AVG??
It does not matter whether scan is initiated by me or by itself, it disables
free AVG.

The free AVG on my desktop does not bother EasyCD Creator. I don't see why
it should
bother Nero either.

Free AVG and Nero 6.6 OEM get along fine on my XP Home box.

The simple solution would be for you to get rid of your AVG and replace it
with 'Avast' or something similar.

Roman,

No I do not have this problem, it seems to be your system... But I do
have different problem with Ad-Aware 2007 this morning, the ile is being
blocked can not save the download from several different websites... with
or without AVG running...

See posting in alt.comp.anti-virus

Do not know if this might be related to the Free AVG...

Try an online virus scan! If that also IDs Nero and CloneCD, you have
infected files. Are you sure you have latest version AVG and latest update?
