Well, that what my ISP said to do when I get error 800ccc0f. Looking at the
Norton Web page, they try to blame the problem on a firewall such as Zone
Alarm, but I don't use that. The problem only happens on one of four email
accounts and appears to be triggered by an infected message arriving. The
cure according to Norton and the ISP is to disable Norton Email incoming
mail scanning!!!! YIKES. What's the product good for?

What's a better AV that doesn't have this problem? AVG doesn't allow
scanning in the middle of the night, at least on the free version. eTrust
EZ AV is a fine product but they can't keep their accounts straight.
PC-cillin, maybe?

The cure is: dump Norton. It's a shambles nowadays. :=((
