Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition v9.xx

What is the main purpose of these file DefWatch.exe ?

I would like only manual scan. So I unload the services.
RTVscan.exe
VPtray.exe

but DefWatch.exe is still runing every boot.

If I want LiveUpdate in background I need to load services
RTVscan.exe VPtray.exe , right ?

Thank for advance
Tong
