I believe you. You spoke of "growing up". I don't remember going
through a malicious or destructive phase. Just the usual reckless and
irresponsible phase of adolescence. I remember going out with some
other kids on halloween, and one boy in particular was into throwing
stones at street lamp bulbs. I couldn't understand that. All I could
think of was the poor people who had to pay for the destructiveness.
Similarly, in high school later on, some of my buddies had jobs in
gasoline stations, and they were robbing the owner blind of items
like work gloves, etc., sold at the stations. I found that disgusting
as well.
While my parents were protestants, they weren't strict. I was
probably influenced by "Thou shalt not steal" to some extent.
But I suspect my attitude was mainly influenced by the super
heros depicted in the comic books and on the radio who were
all staunch defenders of law and order.
When it comes to all forms of malware, I was accused of seeing
things in strictly black and white ... good and bad ... terms.
I would always imagine innocent, hard working, non-tech,
home users taking hits, and that would piss me off Not
to mention my disgust at the total problem of the billions
of dollars and lost productivity wasted because of the
malware problem.
To me, hating what someone does, or has done, has never
meant hating the person. Hell, I don't even hate George
W. Bush. I just hate what he has done

Lipman is a superhero, I'd expect nothing
less than fart powered thrust vectoring!

4Q isn't vx nor is he av, and I'm doubtful he'd claim otherwise. He's
more of an outside commentator, peeking in and giving his 2 cents about
what he sees.
You do not have to be a vxer to get ops in #virus; You just have to be
friends with someone who is already an op. Did you think #virus was
really strict? Years ago, I remember it was, but that was a long time
ago.
While I have no problem with being torn a new one, it wouldn't hurt to
use factual information when doing so. I see no reason to mislead people,
as 4Q has been doing and continues to do.
Apparently, he's targetting David Lipman now... *shrug*

Already said, several times, that site was not part of the complaint -
post all the other links they forced you to take down - you know, the ones
I clearly show as 404 Page not found and prove me wrong.

sorry, i've seen too much of him over the years and seen him too
embedded in the clique at the center of the vx to accept the notion that
he's just peeking in...
perhaps we're using vx to mean different things - i'm not talking about
virus coders specifically, although the clique was composed mostly of
those, but rather those who are pro-virus-exchange... 4q has been pretty
unambiguous in the past about the connection he sees between computer
viruses and his main interest in artificial life...

years ago is when i was talking about... and his words/actions were
towards the benefit of the vx community...

Actually, I was yes. If your going to try and troll people, I think you
would be better served trolling on subjects you do know about. Which is
possibly? ignition switches...

LOL, the tool, WGET.EXE is a GNU Project, free and open to use and be
given to anyone - you should have checked before you started that BS. The
tool maintainers and the actual author have been contacted concernging the
faked complaint and faked claim of ownership.
Gregory Taylor does not have ownership of WGET and did not write it, you
screwed up here.
