Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

I recently upgraded from Norton Corporate Edition 8.0 to 9.0. Things
didn't go so well and now Norton doesn't seem to run normally.

Everytime I reboot I get a window with this in the title bar.
C:\PROGRA~1\Symantec
There is one folder and four files in the folder.

I have tried to clean Norton off my machine and reinstall but that
doesn't do any good.

The Shield that is normally in the right side of the task bar never
shows up either. I am getting updates so LiveUpdate is working.
Thanks,
Bob

E-Mail Symantec, assuming you paid for it.

We have legal copies of Norton I just don't have the information needed
to get support. I have Norton at home and have found their support
next to non-existent. I had a problem with an upgrade at home and it
took close to a week to get a reply. Really lousy support. I did
eventually fix the problem though.
