Post subject: AVG Complete scans DAILY!
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

I've just installed the free version of AVG at the suggestion of numerous
people. So far so good, but I have two problems.

1) The darn thing runs a full scan every day. My system has a very large
number of files and it is killing me because my overnight processes can't
run properly. It's not in Task Scheduler (wouldn't that be easy). There
doesn't seem to be a way to change the timing.

2) It is getting a false positive on PSPV - Protected Storage Passview
(something my wife has -- my machine is her backup server). How can I get
it to stop bothering me about it?

Thanks for the help.

Tom
