Post subject: Browser Hijack
Archived from groups: alt>comp>virus (more info?)

My browser IE6 on XP Pro has been hijacked by a file "secure.html" which
installs itself as the the default browser window. It cannot be replaced or
removed. If it is replaced it simply comes back again next time IE6 is
opened.
Basically the secure html screen is an advert for trojan removers for which
you have to pay $50
I've tried adaware and trojan remover but they can't fix it.
Anyone else had this ?
Any help would be appreciated.
