Hello,
I just installed BitDefender 10 plus, and am using it with the
following email clients:
Eudora 6.x
The Bat
Bat works fine, Eudora seems to retrieve email (via POP3D), but I would
say that every other POP connect will end with Euroda indicating
"connection reset by remote side (10054)" -even when this happens, I
seemingly still get my mail, but it's unacceptable to keep seeing an
ugly error
status pane appear.
I communicated this with BitDefender, and they are aware of the issue
(going back to 2004):

The BitDefender support representative indicated to simply uncheck
"Incoming Email Scanning", and this does cause the problem to go away
-and they claim a virus will still be caught when the email is opened,
etc., but I don't really regard this as a solution -just a workaround
for
possibly a known bug...?
I never had this problem with Norton Antivirus.
Anyone else have this problem with Eudora, or any other email
client...?
