I downloaded a file from Kazaa and my AVG Anti Virus software reported that it was infected by three trojan horses (PSW.perfect.A/B/C). It placed these files in its Virus Vault and I chose to delete them from here but it said the files were only back ups and the original infected files still remain. Do I have to remove them using a virus removal tool? I am new to the world of viruses, could someone give me some tips on this subject as the free edition of my AVG software doesnt provide much help.
