Post subject: Norton Antivirus 2002 Slow Opening
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

Hi. I had been running NAV 2002 with no problem. I decided to install
NAV 2004 because Symantec stopped their tech support for 2002. But I
had problems with the 2004 install. I tried it three times, the last
on a completely reformatted computer, and it wouldn't install
correctly. I decided something is wrong with their 2004 version so
reinstalled 2002, instead.

I had no problem with the install of NAV 2002, and everything seems to
be working fine. But the NAV 2002 program opens very, very slowly, so
slow that I think it's not going to open. It never opened this slowly
when I had it installed before.

Anybody have any ideas to fix this?

Thanks,
Beth
