im using norton antivirus and internet security 2002 on windows xp. i had a
problem with my xp install on that hard drive so what i have done is put the
hard drive in another pc to obtain all the files i need before i reinstall
windows on the problematic hard drive. i suddenly remember i had a live
update subscription valid for another 6 months. how should i go about
moving that from the old xp installation to the new xp installation? is it
as simple as moving the two files ( ProductRegCom.DLL and
ProductRegComPS.DLL ) from the LiveUpdate Folder to the new LiveUpdate
Folder?

thanx for any help

allan

Go ahead and install it again. Poof! You got another whole year of
subscription service. It resets every time it installs.
