Post subject: Norton AntiVirus 2002?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

hi all,

please forgive me if i ask some silly questions i will try to explain myself
the best i can. i have the task of installing some anti virus software on 6
networked computers for a small business. norton antivirus 2002 is currently
on all computers but has recently expireed. i am wondering if renewing this
version and getting the latest 'live updates' would be sufficient to protect
against newest viri ie:w32.blaster.worm? my other question is is it right to
pay a $32au renewal fee per machine? or should it be payment for just one
computer? if i was to purchase norton antivirus 2003 would i have to
purchase 6 licences (1 per machine) or just the one? if just the one, then
how do i go about installing it on 6 different machines? again sorry for any
silly questions, i have never set up virus protection on networked machines.
i would have emailed symantec however could not find the option on their
site

any help would be greatly apprectiated

regards
-michael
