I have never had a problem with Norton but I recently re-installed WinDoze
and re-installed Norton SystemWorks 2003. To my surprise, it showed my
virus definition subscription had expired even though I bought it 2 months
ago.

I looked in the e-mail Symantec sent me confirming my order and they sent me
all the information except the subscription key. The Symantec support page
says one must call tech support for this problem.

I called tech support, listened to all their BS messages about priotiy
routing numbers, etc. and finally got the subscription key.

Why Symantec does not send you this info in the first place is beyond me. I
bought/paid for it.

Very irritating.

Yes, Symantec support or lack thereof can be irritating. I tend to avoid
their products.
