I am looking for an anti-virus solution that is centralized. Idealy, I
would like something that is installed on a server (or comes as a
hardware appliance), that scans client computers on the network. Does
such a clientless solutions exist out there?

No. Do to alterations made on the PC, such as Registry, anti virus needs to be installed on
each workstation and server.

There are enterprise solutions that have cntralized management to push signatures, updates,
patches, configuration chages, etc. and for the logging and monitoring of events.
