Hi
I keep getting a webpage popup, even when my Browser is offline. It pops-up
an advert from "NOADWARE.net" trying to sell their product, to remove it!
I have WIN XP firewall on, ZONEALARM Firewall on Max security, running AVG
Anti-Virus, latest pattern. ADAWARE 6 won't find it, neither will XoftSpy
3.2.08
Any idea how to remove this?
Thanks.

This is unnecessary. Just a waste of RAM

This has to go ASAP. Look at the contents of that VBS file if you want
to know what it's doing.

This "Internet Cleanup" program has a lot of entries. If you don't use
it, uninstall it. You may get better system performance.
The VBS file is very likely the one that's causing your popups. Remove
it and reboot.

Yes. Just put a check next to those two items, and click the "Fix
Checked" button in Hijackthis. Re-Run Hijackthis after they're removed
and you have rebooted to make sure they're gone.

I'm not sure why that was recommended. In my post I said if you're not
using Internet Cleanup, you should uninstall the software. (Implying
Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel).
LSPFix is used if you ever manually change your Winsock stack, such as
deleting a file manually without removing references to it. So no, you
don't need LSPFix

No. As Will wrote, Lspfix is only needed if the winsock stack ends up
with an entry to a non-existant file. If you do remove it, using the
add/remove control panel applet, it *should* correctly maintain
the lsp stack.
Doesn't hurt to have the utility available anyway.
