Post subject: AVP update problem - "access denied"?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>virus (more info?)

I'm trying to update AVP using the automatic updater. The files download
okay but when the updater tries to install the files an error message is
displayed - "access denied".

This suggests that the updater is trying to write to a protected file but
this doesn't really make sense.

Can anyone suggest a solution?
