Did you try closing the Control Center, then reopen it? Sometimes when you
first open it after an update, it will extract the files itself. It does
that most every time after I do an update. There is a small box that comes
up when you first open it and it displays the files being updated, then the
current update date changes on the Virus Update bar.
If not, then go to the new downloaded def zip file, open it with WinZip,
then manually extract the files to the Update folder of the Programs |
Grisoft | AVG7 | Update folder, although, your file locations and folder
names may differ a bit. Then at least you'll have the updated files in
place.
