Hello. I used to have AVG free version 7.5 and was able to remove the
scanning messages that were posted to e-mails. Then upgraded to 8.0
and can't seem to get rid of the messages. I have already gone into
the Advanced AVG Settings / E-mail Scanner / Incoming e-mail and
Outgoing e-mail / to remove the certification text but still my e-
mails are full of messages that AVG has scanned the e-mails. Any
ideas on how to remove the messages? Here is a sample.

Thanks.

Why not just de-activate the email scanner? If you have a good ISP you do
not really need it. De-activating the Link scanner too, helps to speed up
the new AVG. I like the new version but have other programs I run as well.

Sorry to be so late getting here.

You're on the right track, go to Tools/Advanced Settings/E-mail Scanner
and uncheck the "certify" boxes.
