Post subject: AVG Universal Email Scanner Problem with PDF Files
Archived from groups: alt>comp>virus (more info?)

I have AVG v6.0.560 with the Universal Email Scanner using Netscape v7.1 as my
email client. All works extremely well except that when I receive an email with
a .PDF file attachment, the PDF file appears "inline" as a bunch of meaningless
characters instead of as an actual attachment. Other file extensions seems to
work just fine. In order to receive a PDF attachment, I have to reconfigure my
email client to NOT use the AVG scanner. This is very inconvenient. Can you help?

Thanks,

Fred Grinder
