Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

I had to restore my hard drive using Norton's "Ghost" image. After the
restore, I went to Grisoft's web site to update AVG. After the update I
notice that the "Virus Database" release date is shown in red as 7-29-04. No
matter what update I do, the date never changes. Does anyone know what file
controls this database date? I know AVG is up to date, but it would be nice
to see at a glance the date of my database.
