Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

Hi, I installed AVG Internet Security 8.0 yesterday and half an hour
ago I was trying to get to http://www.french-linguistics.co.uk/dictionary/
to look up a translation of a French verb I didn't know the meaning of
but I found that it took a lot longer to finish loading AND the end
result was the url above presented in the url bar of my latest Firefox
browser with a blank page. When I disabled the firewall and it is
still disabled right now, I can easily load up the french site. My
biggest concern is this: how do I get this AVG program to be less
restrictive? When I googled the french site it indicated it was safe
but nothing loaded... I had AVG free before uninstalling that to give
way to the current anti-virus program and I had no problem with the
Free version...???
