Post subject: Symantec 3D First Person Shooter Game

I was seaching around the web trying to read up on the latest updates for my antivirus when I came across this site:

http://www.symantecendpointgame.com/

Symantec seems to be staking their name in online gaming. So here is what they state the mission of the game is:

" Your task is to simply save your global network from viruses, worms, and a hideous host of online threats that are poised to take your IT infrastructure down. "

So, I am sure the first thing that comes to mind is..."Network Security and First Person Shooters? Could this really be that fun?" The truth is, YES!, but you can't take yourself too seriously when playing it. It's not your everyday online game. This game was made with the console player in mind. It takes some practice and determination be successful, but if you can get your friends to play along with you on your team, the prize (42" Plasma TV and Slingbox Pro) they are offering each player on the winning team are really cool. In addition they are giving away free T-shirts to those who register early.

I played the game for about an hour to go through it a few times and explore everything in this massive 3D level. Symantec really went out on a limb to create a 3D multiplayer shooter game for their Endpoint Protection software and if you can get through the somewhat long registration, the game is worth playing."
