Archived from groups: alt>comp>virus (more info?)

Hi,

I recently had to reinstall my Norton 2005 due to expiry, i bought a
new CD and did the install. During installation it did not ask for the
activation key and installed as normal. When I checked the software it
still had the old expiry date.

How do I fix this?
